Showing now through July 29 at the SHSMO Springfield Research Center, the Missouri Bicentennial Quilt is on display as part of its final statewide tour. Visit today!

Located in room 306 of the Meyer Library on the Missouri State University campus. SHSMO-Springfield is open Tuesday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Appointments are not required to visit the quilt.

Featuring blocks from all 114 Missouri counties and the independent City of St. Louis, the Missouri Bicentennial Quilt has been on display in communities across the state since 2020. Now the quilt takes a final tour of State Historical Society of Missouri statewide research centers.

Next stop: Kansas City!

The next stop in the Missouri Bicentennial Quilt Final Tour is the SHSMO Kansas City Research Center. On display from August 2 to September 15, see the quilt in room 306 of the Miller Nichols Library on the UMKC campus. SHSMO-Kansas City is open Tuesday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

On August 2, join us for a special quilt exhibition reception at SHSMO-Kansas City from 4-6 p.m. Light refreshments will be provided, and the event is free.
